Presentations and Bookings
by Dirk Koudstaal - Sunday, 2 March 2008, 11:21 PM
Roger and Dirk have given short presentations for all Moodle students. We are now going to give presentations on a regular basis and those presentations are listed in the For Everybody Course.
It is important for DIMITS students to attend those presentations as part of their course work. I have created in the For Everybody Course a booking system in Topic 1. As attendance to these sessions is counted towards your overall attendance it is important that you book for these sessions.

Courses Structure
by Dirk Koudstaal - Wednesday, 20 February 2008, 10:58 PM
When you enrol in your course you are also automatically enrolled in one or two Meta-Courses. Some courses have similar requirements and use similar resources. The Meta-Course will have those common tasks and resources. Below is a structure of our Meta-Courses.
Especially those students enrolled in DIMITS should check that course on a regular basis as assignments will be posted in that course.
The Meta_Course "For Everybody" will have general resources such as library access, social forums, instructions to Moodle and so on. No assignment or tasks will be posted in that course:

Quote of the Day

It is the mark of an educated mind to rest satisfied with the degree of precision which the nature of the subject admits and not to seek exactness where only an approximation is possible. (Aristotle)
